Illuminated lands through a natural stone archway. After climbing down from the main road towards the shoreline you stumble across this inviting entrance. Beyond, if you continue searching in the spring, there are hills of wild garlic. Climb over rocks further still and although you hear no sound or suggestion, set back in the rocks is a waterfall. I wouldn’t want to give away the location but this painting is a reflection of the secrets that can lie just beyond in nature. Oil on handmade linseed paper, 17.5×12.5cm, unframed.
